Part of our continued to commitment to providing outdoor amenities for residents, this week we opened a fitness trail at our Park of the Americas.
Already home to our first off-leash dog park, Park of the Americas now is home to a new half-mile fitness trail with five exercise stations, which Commissioner Tony Ortiz helped showcase when we opened the trail.

Promoting regular physical activity is a public health priority and our parks make it easy and affordable for residents to get up and get moving to a healthier lifestyle.
This mixed-use recreation trail with exercise and fitness equipment is part of a bigger system. It’s one of the trail heads for the Lake Underhill Path, a two point five mile trail connecting six parks from Park of the Americas to Festival Park.
The 12-foot wide trail is great for walkers, runners, cyclists and dog owners who want to get some fresh air in the great outdoors in The City Beautiful. It’s also a healthy way to connect neighborhoods with places to work, shop and play.
Take advantage of our beautiful winter weather and visit Park of Americas to utilize the new trail.
