Water Safety and Drowning Prevention Work-Along
Dr. James R. Smith Neighborhood Center

Mayor Dyer will work-along with local parents and City of Orlando American Red Cross lifeguards to teach water safety and drowning prevention techniques to preschool children age 3-5. The program gives parents information and techniques to help orient their children to the water and to supervise water activities in a safe manner.  This is a service the City provides at eight different pool sites every summer at a low-cost for both residents and non-residents.

Artisan 420 Groundbreaking Ceremony
420 East Church Street 
Mayor Dyer will help break ground on Downtown Orlando’s newest development, Artisan 420, a nine-story, 300 multi-family unit apartment building, which will also include 6,650 square-feet of ground level retail space.
