Mayor’s Neighborhood and Community Summit
Mayor Dyer convenes more than 300 neighborhood, arts and cultural, civic, community and faith-based leaders and volunteers at his annual Mayor’s Neighborhood & Community Summit for a day of learning, networking and sharing. Click here for more information about the Summit.
Mayor Dyer and the Orlando City Council host four signature community events each year including Blues B-Q, Fireworks at the Fountain, Veterans Day Parade and the Tree Lighting Celebration.

ORLANDO CARES engages volunteers in programs that help youth improve their academic success, increase their literacy skills, plan viable career choices and avoid the juvenile justice system. In our plan, we have created volunteer opportunities that impact educational outcomes and contribute to the well-being of our community.
