It is a great honor and privilege to serve Central Florida’s veteran community as chairman of the City of Orlando Mayor’s Veterans Advisory Council. Paul Hay set an example to all of us about selfless service, leadership and dedication to veterans. Paul was an incredible mentor for me and many others, and we will continue to build upon his legacy.
Our council consists of many veteran-service organizations throughout the region. It is our mission to lead the nation in being a veteran-friendly community. We are blessed with the tremendous support of Mayor Buddy Dyer and our City Commissioners in this vision to provide active and meaningful advocacy for our veterans.
I encourage all of our region’s veterans to get involved and attend our upcoming events, and look forward to joining you in a celebration of our community’s heroes.
