ORLANDO MAYOR BUDDY DYER DELIVERS HOLIDAY CHEER TO NEEDY CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN ORLANDO
Today, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will deliver gifts to children and families at Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida. The gifts were donated yesterday by attendees at the Mayor’s 2014 State of Downtown Address at the Church Street Exchange.
At the Coalition, Mayor Dyer will pass out gifts in the daycare, which provides early childhood education for children from six weeks to four years old and includes a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten.
Coalition for the Homeless works to transform the lives of homeless men, women and children by providing crucial services to end their crisis of homelessness. Of the 600 individuals helped by the Coalition each night, more than 150 are children, with an average age of eight, in over 70 families.
