Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to Kick Off Bowl Season at Camping World Stadium by Rolling Out Some New Gameday Eats
Starting with Saturday’s AutoNation Cure Bowl, Camping World Stadium is the only stadium in the country to host three college football bowl games. When fans enter the venue, they’ll find more than just the traditional gridiron food options as Levy Restaurants, who coaches up the concessions for Camping World Stadium, has several new items to offer for the bowl games.
On Thursday, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will huddle with Chef Dan Madan to prepare and provide a sneak-peek tasting of some of the items that will be available for fans to tackle, including:
12-Hour Smoked Brisket, hand-rubbed with a signature house rub and slow smoked with hickory wood
Dog for the Cure, topped with pink slaw, house smoked brisket, bbq sauce and crispy onions
Fried Apple Pie S’mores Sundae, apple pie bites topped with vanilla ice cream, mini marshmallows, chocolate sauce and graham cracker crumbs
Honey-Jalapeno and Cheddar Cheese Cornbread, infused with jalapenos, roasted corn, cheddar cheese and honey
Horseradish Slaw, shaved green cabbage, carrots and green onions tossed in a sweet and sour horseradish dressing
Camping World Stadium has 29 permanent concessions structures and has the capacity to hold 25 additional portable concession stands throughout the concourses.
In the next two and a half weeks, the stadium will host the AutoNation Cure Bowl, which features UCF playing in Downtown Orlando for the first time since 2006, the Russell Athletic Bowl and the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl. Next month, the NFL Pro Bowl will be held at Camping World Stadium for the first time.
