MEDIA PREVIEW & TASTING – Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to Celebrate Bowl Season at Camping World Stadium by Cooking Some New Gameday Eats
WHAT:
With three bowl games, Camping World Stadium is filled with football during the next few weeks. When fans enter the stadium, they’ll find more than just the traditional gameday food options as Levy Restaurants, who manages the concessions for Camping World Stadium, has several new items to offer.
On Monday, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will work with Chef Dan Madan to prepare and provide a sneak-peek tasting of some of the items that will be available for fans, including:
- Camping World Dog: 12-hour smoked pulled pork, baked beans, cheddar cheese, crispy onions and mustard BBQ sauce
- Citrus Bowl Dog: slow smoked beef brisket, orange soda slaw, grilled green onion and horseradish sauce
- CWS Spicy Boiled Peanuts: 24-hour simmered peanuts with a special blend of spices
- Rosie’s Apple Pie S’more Sundae: vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate sauce, cookie crumbs and mini marshmallows
Camping World Stadium has 29 permanent concession structures and has the capacity to hold 25 additional portable concession stands throughout the concourses.
The only stadium in the country with three bowl games annually, Camping World Stadium will host the AutoNation Cure Bowl with Georgia State and Western Kentucky, the Camping World Bowl with Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech and the Citrus Bowl presented by Overton’s with LSU and Notre Dame. Next month, the NFL Pro Bowl will return for the second consecutive year to the stadium.
