City of Orlando Hurricane Dorian – Update #6
Updates to Key Information for Residents Ahead of Hurricane Dorian: September 3, 2019
September 3, 2019 – ORLANDO, FL – The City of Orlando continues to monitor Hurricane Dorian. At this time, the City’s Emergency Operations Center will activate as a Level 2, partial activation, on Tuesday September 3, 2019 at 5:00 pm. **Please note the updated activation level and new activation time.
At that time, the Citizen Info Line will go live. That number is – 407-246- HELP (4357). This is where residents can call to report damage, downed trees, traffic lights that are out and get information from the City on our response efforts.
City of Orlando non-essential offices and services, including City Hall, will be closed Tuesday, September 3, 2019 and Wednesday, September 4, 2019.
Based on current track and timing, the City plans to resume normal operations on Thursday, September 5, 2019.
