On April 30, 2018, the City of Orlando (City) is pleased to provide this Redevelopment Opportunity on City-owned real property, two (2) vacant parcels located on Mercy Drive, south of Princeton St, north of W Colonial Drive and west of John Young Parkway.

The City acquired six (6) foreclosed multi-family properties from FannieMae in 2015, in the Washington Shores and Mercy Drive neighborhoods.  To date the City has sold four (4) of the redevelopment sites.  It is the City’s desire to sell the two (2) remaining redevelopment sites to developers interested in developing mixed income affordable housing communities that complement the surrounding neighborhoods and include housing to serve low to moderate income households and increase the inventory of permanent supportive housing in the city.  Increasing housing opportunities supports the recommendations of the recently-completed Mercy Drive Neighborhood Vision Plan and will further revitalize the Mercy Drive area.  Click here for more on the Mercy Drive Neighborhood Vision Plan.

Proposals are due by Thursday, May 31, 2018, at 4 pm.  Please click here for more information or contact Clayton Green at 407.246.3817 or Clayton.Green@cityoforlando.net.  The City received four (4) proposals on or before the Thursday, May 31, 2018, deadline.  For your reference a list of Q&As, property appraisals, environmental reports and survey information is provided below.
