Mayor Buddy Dyer’s Cities of Service – Orlando CARES
Program volunteers help our youth improve their academic success, increase their literacy skills, plan viable career choices and avoid the juvenile justice system. These volunteer opportunities impact educational outcomes and contribute to the well-being of our community. For more information go to orlandocares.net.
Orlando City Boards
Citizen participation is vital to a democratic government. The City of Orlando knows how hard its volunteers work and encourages each one to take part in the policy-making process through service as an advisory board member.
Orlando Police Department Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers aid in the overall efficiency of the organization to reduce and solve crimes. Volunteers never replace sworn or other paid positions within the Orlando Police Department, but enhance the efficiency of the agency.
Provide information about yourself, including your education, work and volunteer experience. All volunteer applicants must pass a background check before working with the City of Orlando.
