Are you a member of the media covering news at City Hall or the Orange County Courthouse?

The City of Orlando has designated media parking to make covering city news as easy as possible. All media spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

City Hall Media Parking

  • All spaces are clearly marked and designated as media parking.
  • Live trucks and other media vehicles may use the designated parking in front of Orlando City Hall on Orange Avenue, if available.
  • Additional media parking is located on the Parking Garage Loading Dock off Boone Avenue.
  • The loading dock hours are 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. If it is after hours and access is needed for loading dock parking, please contact City Hall Security at 407.246.2311.
  • Parking for media vehicles used to transmit a live signal only is available along the curb in the semi-circle behind City Hall.
  • Media vehicles may also park in any of the metered spots that are available in front of Orlando City Hall on Orange Avenue and in the City Hall Parking Garage off Boone Avenue. Standard rates and time limits will apply to both metered and garage parking.

Orange County Courthouse Media Parking

  • There are two areas designated for media parking at the Orange County Courthouse.
    • The first is on the west side of Orange Avenue, mid-block between Livingston Street and Amelia Street. These are on-street spaces.
    • The second is the drop-off area directly in front of the Courthouse. This area is reserved for media vehicles being used to transmit a live signal only.
  • Live trucks and other media vehicles may also park in any of the metered spots that are available. Standard rates and time limits apply to utilize the metered parking spots.
