Take part in the ultimate MLDB Championship, an international showcase of paddlers hungry for the opportunity to stretch their racing season to the max. Special out-of-town rates are available to teams living at least 150 miles outside of Orlando. Festival grounds are sure to be abuzz with vendors and entertainment. The Health and Wellness Village provides products and services to help participants and spectators lead healthy, active lives. Monster Runs, 5K Zombie Run and Color Blast 5K

Saturday, October 20, 2018 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Enjoy one or take the Fun Run Challenge for this event and run both the 5k Color Blast and The 5k Zombie Run in the same day and get a discount. You will start out with the Zombie run where you have a choice or be a runner and run from zombies or be a zombie and pull the runner’s flags as they run through your Zombie Zone. Runners wear 3 flags on a belt. Protect these flags; they’re your “life.” Zombies are staged throughout the course ready to chase you and steal your flags. Try to survive, if you can… Lose your flags, and you can still finish the course as a runner. Look for Safe Zones at mile markers 1 and 2 with water, and pick up an extra life flag! Prepare for walkers, runners, crawlers… and some surprises. Choose to become a member of the Zombie Horde instead, and polish your human hunting skills while adorned in true flesh-eating fashion, compliments of the event’s expert make-up team, followed by a visit to our Blood Splatter zone (both incl w/reg). Makeup is free of charge, though tips are appreciated!

Next on the same day take the 5K Color Blast fun run. Come have a BLAST with us! You will run, walk, or skip your way through 5 color zones where we’ll cover you in color. Have a blast as you are turned into a human canvas All FUN RUN CHALLENGE participants earn a THIRD special “challenge” medal! For more information go to http://www.the5kzombierun.com

November 9, 2018, 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

A new and unique way to visit a city called sightrunning, running sightseeing, sightjogging, running tours… there are many names for one of the newest sightseeing trends in the world’s metropolises. But what is this new trend? Sightrunning is exactly what it says on the tin – it is a combination of running and sightseeing. A local runner, guides guests through their home city while sharing facts, history and anecdotes with the participants. During the tour, the runners stop by the many sights to receive information and take photos. However, that is not all, as it is a local person showing runners around the city, the tours also include hidden and unknown pearls that only locals are aware of. They promote a healthy and active way of experiencing the highlights of a city. A very fun, informal and unique run. For more information go to https://gorunningtours.com/tampa-bay
