Comprehensive Planning Studio

The Comprehensive Planning Studio focuses on long-range planning efforts, specifically on developing, monitoring, updating, and amending the City's Growth Management Plan (GMP), a 20-year general policy document that guides decisions about the physical, social, and economic development of Orlando as a whole.

Our work includes:

• Reviewing development projects to ensure conformance with the GMP
  Find out more about the Growth Management Plan

• Developing growth projections for population and jobs
  Look at our 2010-2040 growth projections

• Providing citizens with demographic information
  City & neighborhood demographics

• Conducting special studies
  Plans, projects, & reports

• Coordinating with the Florida Department of Community Affairs (DCA) regarding the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Certification Agreement; and
