Developments of Regional Impact

A Development of Regional Impact (DRI) is a project that has been comprehensively planned to address local and regional issues such as roadways, transit, and affordable housing. 

State statutes determine the thresholds for requiring a project to undergo DRI review.  The statutes change periodically.  For the most recent information, visit the Florida Department of Community Affairs DRI website.

The City of Orlando has approved DRI development orders for the following projects:
