Neighborhood Horizons
provided an organized and focused way to help neighborhood residents
plan for the next century. By identifying and prioritizing current
and long range needs, challenges and strengths, the Neighborhood
Horizons process helped neighborhood associations create a plan
for action to reach their goals.
The City's Neighborhood Services and Planning and Development staffs
would facilitate the Neighborhood Horizons process, allowing
Orlando's citizens the opportunity to create project-specific
neighborhood plans that reflect the City's vision. The proceeding
documents provide a more detailed description of the exciting
Neighborhood Horizons Planning Process that was once in place.
