Landscape Uses
Crown-of-Thorns helps give Florida its tropical look.  It can be cultivated as a potted plant or as a ground cover.  Either way, Crown-of-Thorns will provide, once established, continuous blooms all summer.  Over watering and over fertilization must be avoided.

Fun Facts
Euphorbias contain a milky-looking sap that the stems and the leaves secrete after an injury.  Individuals may experience skin irritation from this sap; therefore, care should be taken when handling these plants.
