Landscape Uses
Society Garlic is easy to grow in light, sandy soils.  When in bloom, it is a showy border plant.  It can also be successfully grown as a container plant.

Propagation
Propagate society garlic by dividing off pieces of the rhizome.

Special Notes
Flowers are most fragrant at night. 

Fun Facts
The bulbs and leaves are edible and can be used like garlic and garlic chives.  It is reported that society garlic, planted in a row or border, will deter moles.
