Fun Facts
In the middle ages people thought juniper smoke gave protection
against contagious diseases, such as the plague and leprosy.
More recently, the American Indians believe that a tea of juniper
twigs cured stomach aches and colds. Modern use of Juniper
is as an ornamental plant and using the berries to flavor gin.
