Beautyberry grows in many conditions from moist and shady, to open and dry.  In autumn the magenta-colored berries add welcomed color to the garden.

Fun Facts
The fruits and seeds are eaten by more than 40 species of songbirds.  If there are any left, the berries can be used for jam and jelly.
