Landscape Uses
The kumquat makes a perfect container plant for small sunny patios.  This is a compact, small shrub bearing flowers in the spring and fruit during the summer and fall.

Pests
Potted kumquats are subject to mealy bugs.  Kumquats planted in the yard may be attacked by most common citrus pests.

Fun Facts
The fruit can be eaten fresh, or used to make marmalade and preserves or kumquat brandy.
