Landscape Uses
Oleander is fast growing and makes a good screen.  This tough plant can grow in a variety of conditions and flowers profusely during the summer months.  It can be pruned into a small tree or grown in a container.  If the plant becomes to leggy or filled with too many caterpillars, prune to maintain a nice shape.

Pests
Scales and caterpillars

Special Notes
Oleander is toxic, do not ingest.  Contact with skin may cause a reaction.  Do not use in playgrounds or other areas frequented by young children or pets.
