Landscape Uses
Chicksaw Plum is a very adaptable plant.  If left alone it can become a small tree, but most often it is maintained as a shrub.  Just remember to promptly remove root suckers to prevent any unwanted spread.

Fun Facts
Early to mid summer, the flowers will develop into plums.  They are edible, but tart.  The plums make a good preserve or jelly.
