Arrest Information

How can I find out if a certain person is in jail?

In most instances you will need to know the approximate area where the person you are attempting to locate might have been arrested. In Orange County, you may call the Orange County Corrections Facility at 407-836-3404. In Osceola County, call 407-348-5137. In Seminole County call 407-323-6512. You may check to see if a defendant is in the Orange County Jail through the internet at http://www.orangecountyfl.net/cms/Bailbond/default.htm or by, 407- 836-3404. You may also check the State Prison System through the Florida Department Corrections’ web page at: http://www.dc.state.fl.us/.

How can I obtain a criminal history?

Criminal Histories may be obtained through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) at http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/index.html. Only histories concerning arrests made in Orange County are available through the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. You may call the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Records Department at 407-836-3760.

How can I found out if there is an active arrest warrant for me?

If you are in Orlando, you may come to the Orlando Police Headquarters Information Desk, at 100 S. Hughey Avenue. Be sure to bring a photo I.D.
