National Night Out Coloring Contest and Essay
Contest – Get the children involved in your crime prevention efforts
through our coloring contest for children ages 5 – 8 or the essay contest for
children ages 9 – 12. Theme park tickets will be awarded to winning entries.
Click here for a copy of the coloring page, contest rules, essay prompt
and essay contest rules. If you are unable to print the coloring page, please
call the Neighborhood Watch Office at 407-246-2369 and request that copies be
mailed to you. We suggest that you set up a table at your event just for the
children, complete with the coloring contest pages, paper for writing, crayons,
pencils, and colored pencils. Encourage them to complete their contest entries
during the party and you may even want to offer your own neighborhood incentive
by selecting a winner on the day of the event. Then be sure and mail all of the
entries in to the Neighborhood Watch Unit of the Orlando Police Department by
August 12, 2013 for judging.
