Assault

An intentional, unlawful threat by word or act to do violence to another, coupled with an apparent ability to do so.

Battery

Unlawful touching of another. Aggravated battery is a battery which causes great bodily harm, permanent disability or disfigurement, uses a deadly weapon, or battery on a victim that is pregnant.

Burglary

Entering a structure without lawful permission, with the intent of committing a crime there-in.

Robbery

Taking something from another using force or threat. Armed robbery involves the use of a weapon, such as a gun, knife, club, etc.

Theft

Larceny, unlawfully and knowingly taking the property of another.

Trespass

Entering or remaining in a structure, vehicle or property without being authorized, licensed or invited; or, refusing to leave after being warned by an authorized person
