Criminal Investigations Division

The Criminal Investigations Division consists of three sections: Property Crimes, Youth Services and Violent Crimes. Cases are forwarded by patrol, our information desk or via online crime reporting and are reviewed by detectives. Part of our mission statement is to ‘Follow up relentlessly’ and that’s what our detectives do with all cases that have any investigative leads.

Our Property Crime Section investigates thefts, burglaries, frauds and forgeries and vehicle thefts. The Youth Services Section includes our Special Victims Unit, Gang Unit and School Resource Officer squads. The Violent Crime Section focuses on crimes from simple batteries, stalking and domestic violence to homicide and missing persons.

If you have any questions or seek additional information about a case we are investigating, please contact us at 407.246.2901. This is a voicemail account and calls are returned promptly.
