Event: 13th Annual School Resource Officers Scholarship GOLF Tournament

SUMMARY
On Friday, May 25, 2007, The Orlando Police's Department School Resource Program will host the 13th Annual School Resource Officer Scholarship Golf Tournament. The School Resource Program places officers in all the elementary, middle and high schools within the city of Orlando. The officers serve as teachers, counselors, role models, and law enforcers. Last year, the SRO Tournament was able to award $10, 000.00 to area students to assist with tuition and books. It is the goal of the SRO Program to increase the amounts awarded annually. Without the support of the participants, this would not be possible.

The Orlando Police Department SRO Program services the following high Schools:
             Boone High School
             Dr. Phillips High School
             Edgewater High School
             Jones High School
Cost:
$65.00 per person in cludes golf, range balls and hot lunch buffet after the tournament. Awards and door prizes to follow.
