Stop the violence and get a new pair of tennis shoes. NO QUESTIONS ASKED!

This year the Orlando Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office are partnering with Real Radio 104.1’s Monsters and Rumba 100.3 to sponsor Kicks for Guns-2007

The Kicks for Guns event will take place on Friday August 17, 2007. Individuals can exchange an unloaded firearm for a pair of new tennis shoes or a miscellaneous gift card (while they last).

Those wishing to participate can drop off a gun at either the Citrus Bowl at 1610 W. Church Street or at Pine Castle Women’s Club (Oakridge Rd. & South Orange Ave.)

Drop off times at both locations are from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

This event is completely anonymous and there will be no questions asked. All firearms should be unloaded and safely secured.
