Neighborhood Watch is a nation-wide program that works to empower community residents. Neighborhood Watch helps to organize and train citizens to be additional eyes and ears of the Orlando Police Department.

Neighborhood Watch works on the basic premise of home and residential security with responsibilities shared by law enforcement and residents. The Orlando Police Department offers:
• Free home security surveys
• Electric engravers so that residents can participate in Operation Identification. Operation I.D. discourages theft and help law enforcement agencies identify and return stolen property.
• Newsletters, crime prevention literature
• Block captain training and special events for all watch members

Join the Orlando Police Department on February 25 or March 5 and help to make your home and community as safe as they should be!
