SUMMARY:

On Wednesday, February 20, 2008, the Orlando Police Department will be recognizing Officers, employees and citizens with awards, promotions and retirements.

• Three officers will be promoted to Sergeant.

• Five employees will be retiring.

• An officer will be recognized with an Award of Valor- the highest award.

• All pastors and churches that participated in “Operation Armor All” will be recognized for their participation in the first phase of the Operation.

• Four citizens will be awarded for good citizenship for their help in stopping a Sexual Battery in progress (Downtown Parking Garage)

This is just a small sample of the individuals who will be recognized tomorrow!
