Stormwater Utility
Weather Station Description

The weather stations are approximately ten feet in height with a
ten-foot mast and two feet in diameter. They are anchored into the
ground about two feet and secured with concrete. These stations
record rainfall and water level using a pressure transducer. There
are no electrical components; the stations operate off a 12-volt
battery that is recharged by a solar panel attached to the mast. The
data is transmitted and captured at the Stormwater Section's
office. The weather station shown above is located at Lake Como.
