Mission Statement

  Engineering Records - Emphasize customer service by responding promptly and courteously to inquiries from the public and City users.

  Survey Services - Provide a variety of survey services to City users within established time frames at a competitive cost, and review privately submitted survey data for conformity to statutory standards, and local ordinances.

  Engineering Administration -  Coordinate the Public Works Department's input to the Capital Improvement Program for transportation and engineering facilities. Assess the City's ability to meet adopted levels of service in these areas and comply with Growth Management legislation. Review all development plans relative to Public Works issues to ensure that development occurs within the framework of City Code, established City policies and accepted engineering practices.
