Keep Orlando Beautiful, Inc. is the proud sponsor of the School Environmental Club program.  At the beginning of each school year, elementary and middle schools are invited to join this program which promotes good environmental citizenship.  Clubs meet and participate in one or more cleanup/beautification projects each month. Clubs also must complete an exhibit for the Central Florida Fair.  Students fulfilling the club requirements are eligible to be rewarded with a special education experience with SeaWorld!

Can It For the Planet

Keep Orlando Beautiful offers the Can It For the Planet Program to ALL Orange County Public Schools and private schools within Orlando .  This is an excellent can recycling program that teaches students the importance of recycling.  It is also a fundraiser.  100% of the money earned from collecting cans goes right back to the school and is to be used however needed.  All supplies are provided, including can pick-ups in our Can Van!  Last year, schools kept over 2 tons of cans out of the landfill and earned thousands of dollars.  We also have a mascot, our one and only Can Lady!  She's uncanny, she's cantastic, and she can make an appearance at your school...
