Solid Waste

Residential Recycling Regulations

Our Solid Waste team is excited to announce the citywide implementation of residential single cart recycling. We will  furnish our residential customers currently participating in our recycling program with one large single 95 gallon cart instead of two bins, red and blue. The carts may be teal or burgundy in color.

Solid Waste Information is Available in the Orlando Information Locator
Click here, enter your address and select "Solid Waste Pickup" to find your recycling and garbage collection days.

We ask that you place your carts curbside after 5:00 PM the night before your scheduled pickup day, or before 6:00 AM on the morning of your scheduled pickup day. To find out your scheduled recycling week and to determine the delivery schedule  for your address click here Orlando Information Locator and go to the Solid Waste info link.

Check out our recycling guidelines below for the types of recycling materials accepted.

Mix all recyclables in these carts. Click here to review acceptable recycling item list.

Request a recycling cart.

Place broken glass and other sharp objects in puncture proof disposable containers and put them with your regular trash. Do not place hazardous waste containers in your recycling bins. To see what is considered hazardous waste, please see our section on Household Hazardous Waste.

Paper and large cardboard items may be dropped off in the designated recycling dumpsters at one of our drop off locations.  (map)
