November, 2017 Update: Phase 1 of this project is complete and Marks Street has been completely reopened to traffic. The City is currently reassessing the need for future phases of this project.
The North Quarter District is one of Downtown Orlando’s fastest growing districts, with expanding entertainment, business, transportation and residential options.
In an effort to accommodate this growth and continue to provide safe and reliable services to the existing neighborhoods, the City will be installing new infrastructure including: sanitary sewer and potable watermains, asphalt, curbs, gutters, driveways, sidewalks and curb ramps. New street signs, pavement striping and tree trimming are also a part of this project. This new infrastructure will provide improved pedestrian access to properties along the Marks Street corridor, offer reliable utility services and help protect our lakes.
All roadways have been opened to traffic.
