May 1 through June 2- Night work will be necessary to repave South Street between Eola Drive and Mills Avenue as well as Anderson Street between Delaney Avenue and Mills Avenue. This night work is necessary due to the high volume of traffic these roads experience. The hours of work will be 9 p.m. through 7 a.m. During these hours, at least one lane of the road will remain open to traffic. Crews will begin work on South Street at Mills Avenue and will move west to Eola Drive. After resurfacing along South Street is complete, crews will begin resurfacing Anderson Street at Delaney Avenue and will move east to Mills Avenue.
Ongoing Work – There will be phased lane closures along South Street and Anderson Street throughout this project. During these closures, at least one lane will remain open at all times. Additionally, there will be phased closures of the intersections of South Street and Anderson Street with Eola Drive, Thornton Lane, Thornton Avenue, Osceola Avenue, and Summerlin Avenue. Please see map showing project limits in purple and phased intersection closures in blue.
