The City of Orlando’s Public Works Department has upgraded the sanitary sewer along West Central Boulevard, starting at Garland Avenue and running west to Glenn Lane. This completes Phase 1 of the West Central Boulevard Sanitary Sewer & Streetscape Construction Project. This project also included placing OUC power lines underground.
Additionally, as a part of this project, the City has rebuilt West Central Boulevard from Glenn Lane to Hughey Avenue, paved Church Street from Lee Avenue to Terry Avenue, upgraded traffic signals, made sidewalk improvements, and installed lighting and landscaping along the street.
This project was completed in December, 2017. All roadways have been reopened.
