Programs

YOUTH/TEENS 

School Vacation Days Camp: (grades K-8th) Program offered during Orange County Public School holidays/breaks. Parents must provide lunch and snacks daily. Program hours are 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

City of Orlando residents $8 per day per child. Two proofs of residency required. MUST provide driver’s license, water bill or electric bill showing City address.

Non- City residents $10 per day per child.

Community Support (City residents only) Must complete a community support application (EBT) to determine eligibility.

After School and the 21st Century Program: (K – 5th Grade) A safe and affordable after-school program that combines recreation, academics, and enrichment for youth of the community. Citrus’ feeder schools are Lake George Elementary and Renaissance Charter School. This program is offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. & Wednesdays 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Registration takes place every August. Cost: complementary in coordination with the 21st Century Learning Grant.

Summer Camp and the 21st Century Program: (Age Groups: must have completed Kindergarten through rising 8th Graders) A safe and affordable summer day camp program for youth. This program is offered Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. to  5:30 p.m. for 10 weeks. Registration takes place in April.  Summer Camp offers a variety of recreational and academic activities, including swimming, project-based learning, crafts, indoor and outdoor activities, exciting field trips (additional expense), computer labs and special events.

(Grades 1-5) will be located at Engelwood Neighborhood Center – 6123 La Costa Dr. 407-246-4453 (Grades 6-8) will be located at Dover Shores Neighborhood Center – 1400 Gaston Foster Rd. 407-246-4451.
