YOUTH/TEENS

After-School: (grades K-8th) Enrichment program for youth that provides a variety of supervised recreational activities, homework assistance, dinner and snack. This program takes place Monday-Friday from 3 – 5:30 p.m.

City of Orlando resident $40 per month per child. Two proofs of residency required. MUST provide driver’s license, water bill or electric bill showing City address.

Non- City resident $120 per month per child.

Community Support (City residents only) Must complete a community support application (EBT) to determine eligibility.

School Vacation Days Camp: (grades K-8th) Program offered during Orange County Public School holidays/breaks. Program hours are 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Parents must provide lunch and snack daily.

City of Orlando resident $8 per day per child. Two proofs of residency required. MUST provide driver’s license, water bill or electric bill showing City address.

Non- City resident $10 per day per child.

Summer Camp: (Age Groups: must have completed Kindergarten through entering 5th grade) A safe and affordable summer day camp program for youth. This program is offered Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. for 9 weeks. Registration takes place in April. Summer Camp offers a variety of recreational activities, including swimming, crafts, outdoor activities, exciting field trips (additional expense), computer labs and special events.

City of Orlando resident $60 per week per child. Two proofs of residency required. Must provide driver’s license, water bill, or electric bill showing City address.

Non- City resident $100 per week per child.

Junior Counselor: (ages 14-15) This year-round volunteer program offers teens the opportunity to learn job skills by assisting with recreation staff during programs and events.

Dance: (ages 7-15) Hip-Hop, mime and praise dances are offered on Wednesdays from 6 – 7 p.m. Cost: free.

Girls Inc: (ages 8-16)This program will be providing a program impacting youth, specifically females, thereby upholding its vision to change people’s lives, embody the spirit of hope, improve communities and make the City of Orlando a better place to live. These youth can participate in scheduled activities Girlz Inc will plan and sponsor. Providing positive experiences with the youth, training them to believe that they too can directly affect their community. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 – 7:30 p.m.  Cost: free

Strengthening Our Sons Mentoring Program: (ages 9-20) This program focuses on young males and will provide a variety of activities.  Meetings are Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (noon).

Rowing Club: (ages 11-15) Created to teach the art of rowing while strengthening and building character and unity. Rosemont partners with Dueling Dragons and Edgewater High School. Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  Cost: Free

Teen Program (Hope Nation): (ages 11-16) Rosemont Community Center partners with local businesses. They will receive information through referrals to supportive services, workshops and job placement assistants.  They will learn life skills and other training through community outreach efforts. Tuesdays 6-7:30 p.m. Cost: Free

Sports/Fitness

Fall Tackle Football (ages 7-14): Registration for fall tackle football begins in May. A registration fee and a physical exam are required for each participant. There are four divisions: Mighty Mite, Pee Wee, Junior and Senior. (Provided that a team is currently available.)

Winter Junior Magic Basketball (ages 9-15): Coed league play begins in December. A registration fee and uniform fee is required for each participant.

$30 per child registration fee

ADULTS/SENIORS

Zumba/Hip Hop Aerobics: (ages 18 and older) Class is designed to get all ages moving on Fridays, 6:45 p.m. Cost: Free

Seniors Program: (ages 55 and older) Seniors Alive is offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Cost: Free

Jazzco Aerobics: (ages 16 and up) Aerobics fitness workout combines music, dance and low-impact cardio exercise to work the entire body.  Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Cost: $20.00 per month or $5.00 per class

 

Rentals

  • Large multi-purpose room – $50 per hour – capacity 141 persons
  • Small multi-purpose room – $30 per hour – capacity 40 persons
  • Kitchen – $15 per hour
  • Outdoor basketball courts – $30 per hour
  • Outdoor tennis court – $2 per hour
  • Soccer field – $25 per hour (9 a.m. – 5 pm.) $40 per hour (5 – 9 p.m.)
  • Pavilion – $50 day

Rental Policy and Procedures

  • $100 refundable damage/cleanup deposit
  • General liability insurance is required and not refundable. It must be provided at time of rental or purchased through the City. Costs vary based upon number of attendees.
  • No alcoholic beverages allowed
  • All rentals must be paid in full at time of booking
  • Rentals must be canceled at least 72 hours prior to event to receive a refund
