|Performs customer service, cashiering, and accounting work for the box office. Primary duties include selling tickets for events held at the Arena, Carr Performing Arts Centre, Expo Center, and the Citrus Bowl. Work is performed under general supervision and performance is reviewed while in progress and upon completion for accuracy and compliance with box office procedures.|
|Sells tickets in person, by mail, or on the telephone; determines and collects appropriate fees and issues tickets; processes/verifies credit card purchases.
Assists with preparation of sales reports as assigned. May compile data and prepare other reports as needed; performs filling and other general clerical duties.
Assists customers with complaints, lost, stolen or damaged tickets.
Monitors records, processes and mails advance ticket orders for single and multi-date events.
Answers telephones and responds to questions regarding events, box office operations; assists patrons in finding seat locations on seating diagrams.
Operates Ticketmaster computer with on-line authorization. Keeps abreast of current events scheduled for facilities and provides general information to the public.
Monitors supply inventory and informs supervisor when items need to be recorded.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to operate computer terminal to enter and retrieve ticket sale information and program scale of house for shows.
Ability to resolve problems in a courteous, diplomatic and effective manner.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work with and maintain control of large volume of money.
Ability to operate calculator, money counter, multi-line telephone, copier and related office equipment.
|High school graduate plus six (6) months cashiering, customer service, ticket sales or clerical experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Computerized ticketing experience preferred. Strong customer service and experience working with large cash volume is required. Must work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
