Performs skilled work in the installation, rehabilitation, maintenance, calibration and repair of various low voltage electrical (under 600V) equipment, machinery, power appliances, fixtures or other electrical components and electronic devices and equipment, such as computers, communications equipment and systems, video systems, process control devices, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), remote telemetry units (RTUs), telemetering equipment, interface equipment, pneumatic controls and other related electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment within wastewater facilities. Serves as technical advisor for systems design and alterations. Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of electronics theory and practice to diagnose cause. Replaces defective components and tests, aligns, and calibrates equipment to specifications.
|Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent electronics technical school required with five (5) years of wastewater electrical/instrumentation experience in installation and maintenance required; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Florida Electrical (Journey - acceptable, Master - preferred) License required. Florida CDL "D" required. Copy must be provided at time of application. Must have home or cell phone.|
