|LEU GARDENS GRANTS COORDINATOR|

|Performs professional and administrative work implementing, managing and evaluating Harry P. Leu Gardens grants program. Primary duties include recruiting grant opportunities, writing applications, maintaining and managing grant documentation, and producing regular status report. Work is performed under the supervision of the Leu Gardens Executive Director.|
|Completes research of nonprofit foundations corporate sponsors, governmental programs, and individual donors to collect data and identify viable funding opportunities.
Prepares grant applications for submittal and prepare quarterly or annual reports as required by granting agencies.
Coordinates and plans funding programs activities, including the prioritization, planning and scheduling of activities to guide program efficiency and effectiveness
Conducts interdepartmental meetings to identify and prioritize project needs; coordinate and research grant preparation assignments.
|Knowledge of grant application process and writing of applications.
Knowledge of various grant programs available to city government and 501 c3 not-for-profit organizations
Knowledge of loan documents to track the disposition of funding with project mangers and funding agencies

Ability to develop, write and implement strategic plans and ability to provide necessary documentation to support grant requirements.

Ability to gather, analyzes, and evaluate a variety of data.
|Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Relations, Social Science, or related field; plus three (3) years of related experience, two of which has been spent in grant/loan funding or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in governmental agency preferred.|
