|VENUES MARKETING DIVISION MGR|
|Performs professional public relations and managerial work responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and promotion programs for events/rooms in the Orlando Venues (i.e., Amway Center, Varsity Club, Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre, and Florida Citrus Bowl). Responsibilities include oversight and development of web sites, promotion, advertising, press releases, and social media. Formulates, revises and implements policies and procedures. The incumbent exercises considerable initiative and independent judgment in the management of the marketing division. Work is performed under the direction of the Executive Director and the Deputy Director, and performance is reviewed through conferences, analysis of reports submitted, and evaluation of Division accomplishments.|
|Manages and coordinates all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
Develops and implements marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
Manages and evaluates the productivity of the marketing plans and projects.
Assists Leu Gardens and Mennello Museum with marketing plan and implementation.
Prepares and administers annual budget; establishes and/or reviews and approves program goals and objectives; monitors and ensures adherence.
Conducts market research to determine market requirements for existing and future projects.
Analyzes customer research, current market conditions and competitor information; incorporates findings into marketing plans/strategies as appropriate.
Strategizes and implements web based information, web page content and social media trends.
Maximizes relations with local and national media to obtain best rates and trades for advertising to support events at the Orlando Venues.
Represents the Orlando Venues in responding to media requests and making public appearances.
Develops and executes written materials to market the Orlando Venues.
Conducts operational reviews and studies to evaluate and improve work methods and Division productivity; formulates, revises and implements internal operating policies and procedures.
Manages staff resources, including selection, development, evaluation and utilization of Division personnel.
Responds to customer complaints/requests and coordinates resolution of problems.
Attends various committee meetings as Division/Department representative as needed.
Performs related work as required.

|Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, advertising, business or related field with coursework in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or Communications; plus five (5) years of experience in Marketing, to include two years marketing management experience directly supervising marketing professionals; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Previous budget responsibility preferred.|
