Starting Salary: $10.00 per hour
Grade: SEAS
NATURE OF WORK:

Assist groups and individual students with academic activities (homework, school projects) for City of Orlando's After-School All-Stars program. Organize and promote enrichment activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, music, dramatics, social recreation, and hobbies, taking into account the needs and interests of individual members. Coaches multiple sports and athletic activities. Coordinates student participation in various community service activities.

WORK SCHEDULE is 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday through Friday and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday during the school year. Summer work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for about eight hours a day. Closed on school holidays. Work schedule is subject to adjustment based on program changes and division needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school graduate with some knowledge of athletics / recreation programs. College coursework in education helpful. Between 30 and 60 semester hours of college preferred. Bilingual (English-Spanish) desired. Valid Florida driver license required.

VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
