Landscape Tech - TEMPORARY

THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION FOR A THREE- OR FOUR-MONTH PERIOD.
NO BENEFITS, NO GUARANTEE OF HOURS.

Starting Salary: $11.00 per hour
Grade: TEMP
NATURE OF WORK:

Performs semi-skilled work involving maintenance of landscaping in the City's Wastewater facilities. Operates tractors, mowers, etc.; also, hand tools. Other maintenance/laborer duties as may be assigned. Involves exposure to all weather conditions, heat, insects, and exhaust from heavy equipment. Must be able to meet rigorous demands of a physical, outdoor job.

REGULAR WORK SCHEDULE is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; and is subject to change based on division needs.

WORK LOCATION is 25155 Wheeler Road, Christmas.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Some experience as laborer in commercial/utility/industrial setting required. Experience operating tractors and mowers helpful. Valid Florida driver license required.

VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW.
