Printable Version Recruitment # 12-096 Job Title Project Coordinator Closing Date 08/03/2012 Salary Specifications >> ONLY CITY EMPLOYEES MAY APPLY FOR THIS POSITION. << Minimum Starting Salary: $44,252 per year Grade: S12 Salary Specifications NATURE OF WORK: Performs responsible technical and administrative work supervising maintenance projects of City facilities. Primary duties include developing and implementing maintenance and programs for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and structural care and repair; requisitioning equipment, tools, materials, and supplies; and overseeing the work performed by outside contractors. Work is performed under general supervision of the Division Manager. Performance is reviewed through conferences, condition of facilities, and reports submitted. REGULAR WORK SCHEDULE is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; however, employee is required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on division needs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Two years of college (at least 60 semester hours of credits or equivalent) or trade school with courses in facility management plus four years experience in building construction and maintenance operations for a public facility, two of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Florida driver license required.
