|Salary Range: Minimum, $53,941 | Midpoint, $69,163 | Maximum, $84,384
|NATURE OF WORK:
Performs professional and supervisory work involving federal grants for the Housing and Community Development Department. Responsible for the preparation, administration, implementation and oversight of the funding and contracting process for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Grant, Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and other grant programs. Supervises staff. Responsible for the preparation of various federal reports and reviews.
Bachelor degree in planning, public administration, business management, accounting, economics, or related field and four years of responsible experience in housing, community development, and special-needs grant programs or related comparable experience; at least one year of which must have been in a supervisory or managerial capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Florida driver license required. Must pass criminal background check and polygraph examination.
VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
