|This is clerical/paraprofessional work involving responsibility for organizing fund raising events for the museum, maintaining membership and volunteer data banks and coordinating volunteers. Work is performed under the general direction of the Mennello Museum Director and is reviewed through reports and observable results.|
|Maintain membership database using Access. Print, send and process yearly renewals; record payment histories, prepare membership information packets, distribute quarterly communications.
Assist with research for grant and sponsorship opportunities for various organizations; assist in conducting presentations that promote museum programs and exhibitions, and increase public awareness and support.
Recruit museum members and volunteers and assist with training; maintain volunteer hours, and keep volunteers informed of schedules and various events.
Assist with coordination of special events; plan and implement events for members; organize member and/or volunteer recognition parties.
Serve as the liaison involving Museum Board of Trustees, the Friends of the Mennello Museum Board and donors.
Perform other related duties as required.

Ability to set up and maintain computerized databases and extract needed information.
|High School graduate with some computer course work required. Two (2) years experience in an administrative capacity involving extensive public contact, preferably working with volunteers, to include: database entry experience, fund raising, public relations and/or in a non-profit membership based organization; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
