|LOGISTICAL/CUST SVC MGR|
|Performs responsible work managing the customer service and support for Permitting Services and Code Enforcement customers, and internal logistical services to the Division's staff members. This position provides analysis of business processes, and determines functional and technical requirements necessary to fulfill overall Division mission. This includes development and implementation of technology solutions, communication system, transportation systems, and staffing and deployment.|
|Manage the development or purchase, installation, customization, and implementation of software applications; technology project budgets, contracts, vendor relations, development staff, coordinate needs/process with various City departments and functions.
Monitors and evalutes the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; recommends, within departmental policy, appropriate service and staffing levels; manages, directs, and reviews the work plans and performance of assigned personnel; selects, trains, and motivates personnel; implements discipline and termination procedures.
Coordinate and manage improved customer services and organizational efficiencies through business process analysis, technology planning, implementation and support; manage technology project features/needs assessment, contracts, budgets and consultant/vendor/staff relationships; manage division website and Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) development and maintenance
Analyze business processes and objectives and identify requirements; recommend computer equipment, application, and process changes.
Develop flow chart and review budgets, policies, procedures, legislation, and technical specifications to improve or meet desired objectives.
Coordinate budget and work requests; ensure requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices are processed and paid; coordinate scheduling and completion of installments.
Research and evaluate software packages; ensure proper database design, implementation and maintenance.
Coordinate needed data currency and accuracy to minimize data redundancy.
Attend meetings; review and help publish data definitions and standards.

|Bachelor degree in Public Administration, Planning, Engineering, or Computer Science or related degree, with a minimum of four years progressively responsible related experience, including two years management experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.|
