|PARKING SYSTEMS MANAGER|

|Performs professional, administrative and supervisory work assisting in directing and coordinating operations of the Parking Division. Responsibilities include assisting in the planning, developing and coordinating the operation of public facilities consisting of eight parking garages, five surface parking lots and event parking for the TD Waterhouse Center, Bob Carr Performing Arts Center, Citrus Bowl Stadium and Tinker Field. Work is performed under the administrative direction of the Parking Division Manager and is reviewed for results obtained through reports and conferences.|
|Assist in planning, organizing and directing all functions of facilities within the Division to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Review and recommend additions/changes to operational policies and procedures.
Assist in planning and coordinating budget preparation; Recommends expenditures of budget funds.
Schedule, negotiate and execute lease agreement, user contracts and revenue collections of user feels for all facilities.
Acts in the capacity of the Parking Division Manager in his/her absence.
Coordinate and assist supervisory personnel in recruiting, interviewing, selection and training of employees.
Perform related work as needed to facilitate accomplishment of division goals objectives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
|Knowledge of methods, practices, procedure and equipment pertinent to parking operations.
Knowledge of rules, regulations codes and ordinances relative to a municipal parking system.
Knowledge of plans and development in the fields of municipal parking.
Knowledge of effective administrative, personnel and fiscal management principles, practices and methods.
Skill to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, officials and general public.
Ability to effectively supervisor, train and evaluate the work of subordinate personnel.
Ability to conduct research and analyze parking studies and other technical materials tor each valid conclusions.
Ability to analyze administrative problems, to make sound recommendations for solutions and to prepare effective work procedures.
|Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and Four (4) years progressively responsible experience in operating a municipal parking system; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (CAAP) Certified Administrative for Public Parking certification desired.|
